How “HERE FOR JAMIE” started.
One day my dear friend Letty came in to get her hair done. We dove deep into the conversation about marketing & business. Where social media has taken over the way we display our business, helps grow our business, & what makes people know who we are. Letty is a genius when it comes to marketing & branding. In that moment she gave me the idea to brand myself as "HERE FOR JAMIE" because people come to me for what I have to offer. Every stylist is different but for certain reasons you are drawn to me to be your stylist.
So just like that in 2019 “HERE FOR JAMIE” was created.
WANNA GET TO KNOW ME...
Since the early age of 2 years old I had this fascination with fashion & beauty. As soon as I was able to dress myself I was changing outfits several times a day. Growing up in Los Angeles & the weather being cool in the morning to hot in the afternoon, I would change my outfit to fit the weather. Also if I was playing outside & wanted to go with to the store with my mom I would think to myself "I can’t possibly wear this outfit to go shopping”. Needless to say I would change my outfits 3-6 times a day growing up. As I got older that habit really didn’t change much, & in high school I knew I had to do something with this passion for beauty.
In 2009 is when I had finished cosmetology at Paul Mitchell the School in Costa Mesa, CA & finally became a license hairstylist! I have always had a drive for this career & the sky was the limit for me so I took as many classes to advance my techniques to mold my talent. I took classes from Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, and Bumble & Bumble. I had even took every Wella class that there was to offer at that time & became a certified Wella Master Color Expert. Not to mention I entered a hair competition with Wella five times. Which out of the five entries I had become a three time Wella Trend Vision North America Finalist and 2018 Trend Vision Color Vision Bronze Winner!
Since 2018 I have not entered any other competitions. My focus since then has been my family, my husband, stepson, my daughter & building my clientele. Once you sit in my chair you will know my love for family. My daughter & stepson are my world! They bring so much light into my life. I am the youngest of four kids & I have several nieces & nephews which I love being around & seeing them bond with my daughter. Along the way I find the balance between mom life & working behind the chair & continue to make sure to never lose sight of what you want or need as my client. I will always tell you my honest opinion & make sure we make the best decision for your lifestyle.
Being a hairstylist isn’t a hobby it is my career & passion! I will do whatever it takes to make sure you are happy & for you to know your not just my client but my friend.
